Welcome to Pickle’s Pet Pals

We believe pets are family. Between us, we’ve shared our lives with dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, and fish – and each one has left pawprints (and tiny footprints and finprints) on our hearts. Caring for animals isn’t just something we do, it’s part of who we are.

We know how important it is to feel that your pets are safe, happy, and loved when you can’t be there. Whether it’s a dog who loves a walk, a senior dog who needs a helping hand, a cat who needs a cuddle, or a small pet who just needs a gentle check-in, we’re here to give them the same love and attention they’d get from you.

We also understand that trust and reliability matter just as much as affection. That’s why we pride ourselves on being dependable, professional, and committed to clear communication with every pet parent. You can rely on us to arrive when we say we will, to keep you updated, and to care for your pets with the same dedication we’d want for our own.

Our journey began with a very special soul – Sue’s beloved dog, Duchess (affectionately known as Pickle). She was by Sue’s side for 16 1/2 wonderful years, filling her life with joy, loyalty, and unconditional love. When she passed, we knew we wanted to honour her memory in a way that kept that love alive. Starting Pickle’s Pet Pals felt like the perfect way to share the care and devotion we gave to Duchess with other pets.

We cover Heath, Cyncoed, Llanishen, Birchgrove, Whitchurch, Rhiwbina, Roath and Cathays. For our longer stay pet sitting services we also cover surrounding locations such as Barry and Pencoed, and are happy to discuss locations further afield.
